1. Did this book make you laugh? Cry? Smile? Cringe? Cheer? Explain.
The series is rather amusing in the aspect of different ways the crime is being executed, like "how to kill people in really creative ways 101." But it also gives you this irritating anticipation as it slowly drags on the clues leading to who the culprit is. It's also annoying how one of the certified detective has such an inflated ego that it takes off about a few panels to interrupt the investigation and disregard the child protagonist even though it's not his own abilities that solved the mystery but the shrunken high school student.. Of course, those panels are for comedic purposes.

2. In what ways is this book connected to your life?  What do you find relatable?
What's most relatable about the manga is how the main protagonist constantly gets brushed aside because he has the stature of a child. It shows how some adults are very ignorant and dismissive of an individual because of their age. As a child who experienced that kind of suppression, episodes of self-doubt and worthlessness occur more often because an obstacle prevents the reach of full potential and it becomes extremely discouraging for kids to advance as individuals.

3. What parts of the book seem most believable or unbelievable? Why?
After consuming so much genres of manga, I've developed a desensitization to things such as teenagers being forced drink a prototype poison that could kill him but instead shrinks his body down to fun-size carry-ons. What's believable or unbelievable, the line seems to diverge considering the progress of our world. Humanity does some insane stuff, so it's likely that they'd develop some kind of syrum like that recreate events like that.
But of course to the public, these ideas are quite far-fetched now. But maybe later in the future, some crazy scientist might make something similar to benefit towards immortality or eternal beauty.
