So It Begins...

In your own estimation, how much reading did you do last year?  This includes your reading for class.
The previous year focused more on the craftsmanship of an expository/persuasive text. More of the given excerpts were less than enjoyable and if not, predictable and repetitive. But that doesn't even amount to the writing and thinking that follows.

Then there was The Crucible and The Great Gatsby. One can be summarized as an unreasonable raid of personal space and a sorry-for-an-excuse of a witch hunt, inspired by the clashing dispute of on communism dating back to the 1800's in American History. While the other was a modernized spin-off of Romeo and Juliet, told in the perspective of a bystander mutually associated to the Romeo character.

Excluding summer season, it would all equate to about a quarter of the amount read the entire year.

What is something you really enjoy reading? What makes it so enjoyable?
Majority of the time spent is settle on indulging in fan-fictions based a personal favorite series. This, however, is only the fuel that maintains a passionate flame of love for admirable characters going. It is a dream of romance and fantasy interpreted by a fellow scribe dwelling in the same community who enjoys the series as much as I. Unfortunately, there is a minuscule gallery. On-going projects are kept on queue for the release of the next chapter.

Occasionally, sparing visits to graphic novels and web-comics helps feed the craving for artistic aesthetics and therefore creates another mold to adjust my own developing style.

What is something you hate reading? What makes it so terrible?
Historical fiction is most likely to fall under the unfavorable list of genres. The simple lack of interest makes the experience all the more monotonous. So it's simply effortless tossing it out as a likely option. I had considered reading verses, but refuse to take the time to interpret and develop its ideas, no matter how quick of a read it is. Both genres are often forced upon, which thwarted my interests completely.
